WHAT IS ALT-FEST?!

Alt-Fest is and will always be a crowd led event, for the fans by the fans, the first festival of its type ever and the LARGEST Alternative Festival in the Universe! From our humble beginnings we have always worked with you and our Alt-Festers to deliver the festival YOU wanted. With the activities, facilities and line-ups YOU asked for. Our initial seed funding in April 2013 was also crowd led via Kickstarter.

With your support we raised and smashed 205% of our objective (£61,762). This initial and massive support from our early supporters enabled us to book our intial line-ups and secure the festival site etc. From there we have further secured major independent funding and investment; and forged some amazing partnerships to ensure Alt-Fest's growth and success.

We now boast one of the best if not THE best festival locations/sites in the UK and a wealth of experience within our Alt-Fest team.

Alt-Fest's production is being handled by SWG, one of the largest and most respected festival production providers. The Southwest Group work on many festivals, year in year out, and are also responsible for the production and build for 9 of the stages at Glastonbury Festival, so we know we are in VERY safe hands. All aspects of the festival site and infrastructure are being provided by proven industry suppliers from security to sanitation (and beyond) to ensure your festival experience is second to none!
